Twenty-three-year PR veteran Patrick McGregor has contributed to the success of countless fashion and luxury brands.

 

Prior to launching KP McGregor Consulting in 2013, McGregor was based  in Milan where he served as Versace's Group Director of Communications and Public Relations.  In this role, McGregor worked closely with Ms. Donatella Versace to reposition the iconic brand through multiple initiatives including the Lady Gaga partnership, the Versace for H&M collaboration and the return of Atelier Versace to the Paris runway.

 

McGregor previously served as Vice President of Public Relations for BCBG Max Azria Group, where he spearheaded the strategic relaunch of the Hervé Léger brand.  At LaForce + Stevens, he was Vice President of the agency's fashion division, overseeing a vast roster of clients including Roland Mouret, J. Mendel, Brioni, J.M. Weston, Allegra Hicks, Perry Ellis, Original Penguin, Vilebrequin and the CFDA/Vogue Fashion for America post-9/11 initiative. McGregor has also held PR positions with Vivienne Westwood and Staff USA.

 

In 2013, McGregor was appointed co-chair of the Whitney Contemporaries of the Whitney Museum of American Art, a group he has been active with since 2006. He holds Bachelor degrees in both European Cultural Studies from the American University of Paris and Merchandising Management from the International Academy of Design & Technology in Chicago.  Originally from Montreal, Canada and currently based in New York City, McGregor has also lived in Milan, Paris, Berlin, Cologne and Chicago.

 

McGregor's international experience coupled with an avid interest in history, literature and the arts, give him a broad cultural outlook, unique among his peers.
